Inspired by a long forgotten little riff... I just let my head go for a wonder and once I'd got the 'gothic vibe' going - there was no turning back... That original riff was played (in the 80s) by either old bandmates Aylmer or Bert - but neither remember doing it - DOH!

nobody told me

From tiny acorns indeedy… or then again from one tiny ‘riffette’. So this was a case of …take one riff add some ‘reclaimed’ lyrics - write another verse produce video and Bob is your Aunties Husband! It was originally going to be called ‘homage’… to whom? I shall leave that to your ears!

roadkill on the 401

Been over a month since the horrendous Canadian train journey… But at least I got a song out of the ‘experience’… Not full of ‘angst’ as some had expected - this has more ‘cathartic’ ...all behind us feel - time to move on (unlike the ‘Via Ocean Train).

It’s 1974….Eager young teenager sees intriguing advert in Melody Maker “Aim is to tour America — but must be prepared for penniless wait”. Heads down to Cambridge for audition - gets the gig - but as is mostly the case - “Fame and fortune never came”… so I headed on the road again! Hey ho!

…​ ​​ ​​ Just when i thought that my dabbling in the ‘prog poll’ was over I stumbled across a rough sketch I had for an ‘industrial’ piece… so whilst still having some prog flowing thru the old digits I decided to work it up!  Once again old bandmate Aylmer has let me sprinkle it with some of his guitar magic!
